Senior .NET Developer
Avellio is partnering with a scaling manufacturing company, based in Solihull, and hiring on their behalf for a Senior .NET Developer to join the team.
Our client are currently looking to upgrade their internal legacy systems and are moving everything on to a new .net core framework. The successful applicant will play a key role in leading the upgrade from a hands-on perspective supporting the wider IT department with upgrades, maintaining, developing and troubleshooting various systems, and supporting users in their use of these systems.
We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer to join the team, based in Solihull!
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Review, improve and rewriting existing legacy applications
Participate in requirements gathering to ensure that functional and non-functional requirements are understood
Write clean, scalable code using C#/.NET core programming language
Analysing, reviewing and altering the programme to increase operating efficiency and adapt new requirements
Troubleshooting and resolving system and user issues
Develop new reporting requirement from any change requests
Develop any new system enhancements
Core skills and experience:
2 years of experience as a C#/.NET / MVC Developer
Experience with HTML / CSS / JavaScript
Design & Integration experience with Restful API / Web API 2
Experience with SQL Server including Store Procedure

Conveyancing Legal Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Legal Assistant to provide full support to our Solicitors, ensuring efficient operation and high-quality client service. The role involves preparing correspondence using our case management system, attending to clients both on the telephone and in person, administering filing systems, preparing mail for dispatch, managing diaries, and carrying out audio typing from dictation. Additionally, the Legal Secretary will be responsible for scanning and photocopying paperwork and handling routine client correspondence and queries.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent knowledge and experience within residential conveyancing, demonstrate initiative, and be proficient in conducting searches and ID checks. High levels of speed and accuracy in audio typing from dictation are essential, as is a good telephone manner and comfort in client interactions. Being highly organised, methodical, and adaptable are key attributes for success in this role.

Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
Role: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
Salary: £45,000
Location: Tewkesbury, Hybrid 1 day per week in office.
Avellio has currently been tasked with supporting a global software house in the security space and recruiting on their behalf for a cloud infrastructure engineer to join the Team.
We are currently seeking a cloud infrastructure engineer to join a small close-knit team based in Tewkesbury too support on a variety of projects across the entire business using a variety of tools such as Azure, Linux and Docker.
The ideal candidate will have some experience and exposure to cloud technologies and Linux command lines, with some of the core responsibilities such as design, Implementation, Security, Performance monitoring and Optimisation.
We are keen to speak with candidates who have experience in the cloud infrastructure space and also some junior candidates who may have some but now all of the skills listed.
Core skills & experience:
- Experience with using demonstrable analytical, fault diagnosis and troubleshooting skills.
- A proven ability to research and contribute towards the development of innovative solutions.
- Ability to use Service Desk tools to manage incidents/changes/problems tickets and carry out reporting activity.
- Knowledge and experience testing, deploying, and maintaining Azure Virtual Machines and Azure Virtual Networks in an enterprise environment.

We are seeking a skilled Family Law Solicitor to manage a caseload of family law matters under the supervision of the director. This role involves providing advice on private law children matters, divorce, financial settlements, separation, domestic violence, pre and post-nuptial agreements, and cohabitee disputes. You will handle complex and time-sensitive cases, take new instructions, conduct legal research, and engage in advocacy. Additionally, you will assist the director, manage new enquiries, and participate in networking and business development activities.
The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified senior solicitor (3-5+ PQE desirable) or hold equivalent qualifications (e.g., CILEX, CLC). You should have a proven track record in managing your own caseload of privately funded work, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate commercial acumen. Strong IT skills, a good academic record, and experience in family law are essential. The successful candidate will be highly organised, methodical, adaptable, and driven to provide a high standard of service to clients.
