We're assisting a Legal 500 law firm in their search for an experienced Receptionist to bolster their team in the Cayman Islands.
The ideal candidate should:
Be a Caymanian.
Have current or previous experience in a Receptionist role, preferably within a professional services firm.
Bring significant expertise from their receptionist roles.
Ideally, possess some basic understanding or exposure to finance or bookkeeping work.
Working Hours: The role is primarily full-time. However, there's a possibility for a slightly flexible schedule, such as from 10am to 4:30pm, but it's mandatory to be available 5 days per week.
Salary: The offered salary bracket is US$35,000 to US$45,000, commensurate with the candidate's experience.
Senior Construction Arbitration
**Job Purpose:**
To help develop our clients construction arbitration practice, leveraging international experience to establish a strong local presence in Oman's evolving arbitration landscape.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Arbitration Expertise:**
- Represent clients in complex construction arbitration cases both within Oman and internationally.
- Provide expert counsel on construction disputes, contract interpretations, and related matters.
2. **Client Management & Business Development:**
- Bring a portable practice and leverage existing relationships to grow the firm's client base.
- Identify opportunities in the Omani market, capitalizing on recent departures and market shifts.
- Nurture and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
3. **Team Leadership & Development:**
- Mentor and guide associates and junior lawyers in the arbitration department.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients.
- Lead recruitment and training initiatives to strengthen the firm's arbitration capabilities.
4. **Market Analysis & Strategy:**
- Analyze market trends and shifts in the Omani legal landscape.
- Develop and implement strategies to position the firm as a leader in construction arbitration in Oman.
5. **Compliance & Governance:**
- Ensure all arbitration activities adhere to Omani and international legal standards.
- Provide internal guidance on best practices in arbitration and dispute resolution.

**Qualifications:**
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law.
- Qualification from a recognized legal body or institution.
**Experience:**
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in construction arbitration.
- Proven track record of handling international arbitration cases.
- Established portable practice with a strong client base.
**Skills:**
- Deep knowledge of construction law and arbitration procedures.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.

They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Claimant Personal Injury Solicitor with expertise in handling Asbestosis Claims.
Responsibilities:(Not exhaustive)
- Manage a caseload of Asbestosis Claims, from initial consultation to settlement or trial, ensuring the highest level of client representation and service.
- Conduct thorough investigations, gather evidence, and assess the viability of claims.
- Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients, explaining their rights, options, and potential outcomes.
