Construction Manager
Construction Manager
Boxman Studios is currently seeking a Construction Manager to join our team.
Overview
In this role, you will plan construction projects and oversee their progress from start to finish in a timely and cost-effective manner. Your key responsibilities will include budgeting, organization, implementation, and scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for estimating all new build opportunities
- Responsible for setting up and running all meetings between Franchises, Structural, MEP, Civil Engineering, General Contractor, and Internal Team.
- Responsible for all sub-contractor contracts, developing, executing, and maintaining.
- Manage the assignment of staffing, materials, and equipment to maximize efficiency and maintain schedules to meet budget goals.
- Foresee possible problem areas and take preventative action to meet critical milestones for each project phase.
- Serve as the primary contact with client representatives and subcontractors for construction-related activities.
- Maintain strong Client and community relations.
- Confirm material take-offs and manage on-site inventory.
- Identify and communicate potential changes in order details as required for processing.
- Ensure project data integrity and documentation are accurate, timely, and coordinated.
- Track the progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, and approved timelines.
- Report the status and variances of each project.
- Create action plans to meet each project's objectives, budget, and schedule.
- Frequently inspect projects to verify that work in progress is proceeding and/or completed according to company specs and quality workmanship. Proactively identify possible construction delays and communicate with the Client.
- Ensure projects maintain job site cleanliness and meet company quality standards.
- Confirm that job sites comply with OSHA, local, city, state, and federal guidelines.
Requirements
- Proven working experience in construction management
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Projects, and Procore software.
- Understanding all facets of the construction process
- Familiarity with construction management software packages
- BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field

Job Overview
Plumbers install and pipes that supply water and gas to, as well as carry waste away from our containers. Plumber also install plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and appliances, including dishwashers and hot water heaters.
Responsibilities
- Study and analyze blueprints and floor plans to understand the plumbing system and water supply system layout.
- Navigate the assembly and installation of pipes and tubes without interfering with existing infrastructure.
- Assemble valves, fittings, tubes, and water system appliances.
- Troubleshoot and fix issues relating to water supply lines.
- May be asked to travel to job site when needed.
- Works in a safe manner and follows all safety policies while performing job duties
- Maintains work area (kept clean and organized).
- Follows work orders and instructions on correct assembly of building components
- Maintains open communication with supervisor regarding safety concerns
- Performs various other job duties as assigned and needed
Qualifications
- Highschool or equivalent.
- Eligible to work in the USA
- (2) years experience in plumbing field.
- Strong understand of plumbing systems, materials, and equipment.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to crouch, bend, and work overhead for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

In this role, you will be responsible for installing new Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) and Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) roofing systems, conducting roof inspections, repair existing system if needed.
Responsibilities
- Read and understand blueprints for commercial plans.

- Install approved insulation boards (plywood/wood planks)
- Install an EPDM or PVC system over loosely laid insulation board.
- Cutting materials to fit angles formed by walls, vents, or intersecting roof surfaces
- Working on low-slope roofs
- Installing layers of insulation on the roof decks of flat roofs, and sealing the seams
