Patient Care Assistant (Daycare)

Reporting to the Manager / Assistant Director of Nursing, you are responsible for the maintenance of a clean, orderly, and safe environment and the performance of patient care under the supervision of the Registered / Enrolled Nurse.
Responsibilities:
- Keep active measures to ensure the safety of patients under supervision of the Registered Nurse as required.
- Actively attend to the patients self-care needs including elimination, nail and oral hygiene maintenance.
- Assist with mobility needs of patients as well as transfer and mobilise the patient as required.
- Assist as van escort helping patients to and fro from the Hospice.
- Measure and record patient's weight, temperature and blood pressure as required.
- Look after the patient's dietary and feeding requirements, including taking meal order, serving meal and drinks, as well as assist with the feeding of patient if patient unable to do so.
- Be responsible for food pantry including the safe storing of food items, checking on stock level and ensuring the quality of food for safe consumption.
- Upholds standards in infection control by means of standard precautions, hand hygiene, proper waste disposal and isolation practices.
- Assist with administrative duties such as data entry and filing of documents etc.
- Assist with filing of documents.
- Report occurrences and patient observations to the Registered Nurse promptly.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisation at all times.
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and discretion in matters involving patient care.
- Maintain a conducive and safe patient care environment.
- Undertake to keep oneself well informed of the updated industry guidelines and develop new skills that are necessary for the job.
- Perform any other duties as and when assigned by the Assistant Director of Nursing, Registered Nurse, or Day Care Manager.
Requirements:
- At least possess a GCE 'N' Level or Certificate in Health Care Assistant or equivalent
- At least 2 years of working experience as a Patient Care Assistant.
- Passion to serve.
- Processes strong sense of responsibility for safety, patient, considerate and courteous towards patients
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Daycare Work Scheme: Mon-Fri (Candidates must be comfortable to work on weekend or work beyond the official working if required)
Daycare Working Hour: 7.45am-5.15pm / 8am-5pm

Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop seasonal merchandise plans in collaboration with the product development and sales teams in Europe and US. Analyse historical sales data, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and risks.
- Monitor inventory levels and stock levels to optimize product availability and minimize excess inventory. Collaborate with the logistic/warehouse team to ensure timely replenishment and allocation of merchandise.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and pricing plans. Monitor pricing competitiveness and profitability and make recommendations for pricing adjustments as needed.
- Analyse sales performance by product category, SKU, and channel from all the business units. Identify sales trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Prepare and present regular reports and insights to key stakeholders.
- Monitor competitor activities, including product launches, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns. Identify competitive threats and opportunities and make recommendations to stay ahead in the market.

Responsibilities
- Generate Inpatient billings from Ingot PCC.
- Submit MediShield claims via CPF portal.
- Update Oracle Collection module on MediShield payout.
- Submit Medisave claims via CPF portal.

- Write to NOK to settle any outstanding amounts not covered by MediShield Life and Medisave.

Reporting to the Nurse Manager / Nurse Clinician, you will be responsible for delivering patient-centric and compassionate care according to patients needs and condition.
Responsibilities for Home Care role:
- Ensure the nursing care services rendered are safe, competent and individualised. Uphold nursing standards in documentation, treatment, patient monitoring and infection control.
- Manage complex patient care and demonstrate clinical skills, knowledge and critical thinking in the care delivery to patients.
- Monitor, reassess and evaluate patients condition, implement a plan of care for the patient and support family members to cope with patient advanced disease.
- Coordinate the care of patient through an advising physician, provide direct patient care, evaluate the patients conditions, and serve as the liaison between families and physicians.
- Communicate and build rapport with patients and their families or caregivers. Assess the home needs in terms of training and requisition of equipment and aids to facilitate patients living.
- Allocate equipment as necessary to assure adequacy of resources to meet care requirements.
