Electrical Design Engineer
We are conducting the search and selection process for an Electrical Design Engineer position, who will join our partner's team (multinational Energy technology company) in Bucharest.
About the role:
As an Electrical Design Engineer, your mission will involve executing electrical subsystems/components for power plant projects. This includes working on HV, MV-, LV- and AC/DC-Switchgear, Load Data Lists, Batteries, Rectifiers, Inverters, DC-DC Converters, Diesel Generators, HV- and LV-transformers, generator circuit breakers, protection, and grid interfaces.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Review and comment on customer Requests for Quotation and prepare cost calculations
- Evaluate EPC contracts, including customer specifications
- Prepare time schedules for the electrical scope of works
- Supervise deadlines, quality, and costs for the electrical systems
- Handle claim management and negotiations
- Prepare affiliated documents and technical specifications
- Participate in engineering and optimization of interfaces
- Coordinate the preparation of required documentation like erection and O&M Manuals
- Review contractor engineering
- Supervise contractor time schedules and costs
- Coordinate electrical erection contractors with project and site requirements
- Trouble-shooting
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in electrical engineering
- Minimum of 8 years experience in the power generation and EPC market
- Strategic orientation with detailed product and market knowledge
- Customer-focused with adaptability to a dynamic environment

- Self-motivation with high energy drive
