As a PRN Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in various settings, primarily hospital, providing high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans to improve their mobility, strength, and overall function
- Providing hands-on therapy to patients, including exercises, stretches, and mobility training
- Monitor and document patients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for managing their conditions and preventing future injuries
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with company and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- BLS certification
- 1 year of experience as a PT is preferred. New grads are welcome to apply
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work on a PRN basis, including weekends and evenings if desired
