Sous Chef
JOB PURPOSE
The Sous Chef supports the Executive Sous Chef in implementing and maintaining Food Production standards which are cost effective and tailored to meet changing guest eating trends. The Sous Chef is responsible for inspiring and empowering employees in the kitchen to provide efficient, superior food and service to guests. He is in charge of all staff and ordering issues in the kitchen.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Areas of Responsibility and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following;
- Responsible for taking control in collaboration with the outlet chefs of the weekly roster including holiday plan and ensure correct information.
- Supervise/guide all issues related to kitchen team (Uniform, Shoes, Hygiene, Transport, Health cards, Residence permits etc).
- Responsible for the maintenance and upgrading of food quality and presentation.
- Carry out daily inspection of all cold rooms and refrigerators in order to ensure correct use of food items and respect of hygiene rules.
- Control hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen department in collaboration with executive sous chef using the standards.
- Implement and check daily outlet log books in collaboration with chefs.
- Responsible for setting up a control system that will assure quality and portion consistency.
- Create a data base of recipes that can be followed by the team members.
- Perform any other any other matter as per Executive Sous Chefs request.
- Ensures that disciplinary actions are taken, when necessary, according to hotel policies.
- Organize and conduct culinary training to the team
- Maintain training records of the team members
YOU SHOULD HAVE
- Must have at least 3 years of Previous managerial experience as a Sous Chef
- Minimum 2 years of Experience in Middle East Region is mandatory
- Ability to speak, read, write advanced level of English
- Good organizational, planning and communication skills
- Excellent in PC Skills (MS Office/MC etc)
- Ability to work under pressure
- A passion for building excellent relationships with colleagues
- Ability to manage large teams / creative / Excellent presentation skills / Attention to detail
Female Security Co-ordinator (Kurdish Speaking)
JOB PURPOSE
The Security Co-ordinator is responsible for the safety of the guests and staff members at the hotel. He/She is familiar with identities of the Head of Departments and Supervisors and has a working knowledge of their areas of responsibility. He/She should establish a rapport and foster a spirit of cooperation and respect and to be willing to assist and be helpful without compromising security and safety.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- To create and maintain the highest standard of Security at all times, being professional in attitude, appearance and application.
- Reports for duty at specific times and consults with the officer being relieved as to current activities and/or problems: checks security log and any other appropriate sources for information needed to perform their duties.
- Maintains a complete understanding of emergency procedures to be followed in any situation.
- Is thoroughly familiar with the entire property and cognizant of the areas and functions likely to require attention by security personnel.
- Possesses a thorough knowledge of current Emergency Procedures. These procedures are to be strictly adhered to.
- Investigates all reports, injuries, or unusual incidents and give feedback.
- Keep the Security Manager informed of any noteworthy incidents or conditions, disciplinary problems are any information deemed helpful to the performance of his office.
- Contact the Security Manager in any case not covered by instructions or when in doubt regarding appropriate actions.
YOU SHOULD HAVE
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as an office co-ordinator/security guard/officer
- Ability to speak, read, write advanced level of English
- Ability to speak, read and write advanced level of Kurdish
- Effective communication skills and pleasant personality are a must.
- Good in MS Office Package

Front Desk Clerk (Receptionist)
JOB PURPOSE
As a Receptionist, you will provide reception services for Guests to contribute to an overall exceptional experience from check-in through check-out and complete audits, as required. A Receptionist contributes to the first impressions of our Guests.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Achieve positive outcomes from Guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensure an efficient reception experience for Guests, including check in/out, and complete audit procedures, as required
- Ensure that both the Front Office Manager and Reception Supervisors are kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and, or, other departments
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times
- Attend appropriate training courses, when required, and assist with the Night Team's training and development efforts
- Demonstrate a knowledge of hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions and other general product knowledge necessary to perform daily duties
- Maximize room occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities
- Use the correct procedures regarding the acceptance of foreign currencies, credit cards and cash in accordance with the hotel credit policy

Bartender
JOB PURPOSE
As a Bartender, you will provide warm welcome for Guests to contribute to an overall exceptional experience.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following;
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Assist guests regarding all beverage menu items in an informative and helpful way
- Mix drinks and control the beverage stock as per guidelines
- Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions
- Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
- Receive orders and serve customer requests completely in a timely manner
- Create and serve a range of beverages including classic cocktails, mixers, beer, wine and soft drinks etc.
- Take food orders and assist the floor team with deliveries as required
- Understand menu content, any menu changes, and promotional activities
- Keep your service area clean, tidy, and well-prepared

JOB PURPOSE
As a Hostess, your role is to extend a warm welcome to guests, enhancing their overall experience at the establishment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Adhere to Divan standards/SOPs and maintain personal hygiene at all times.
- Ensure immaculate uniform presentation while on duty, exhibiting a smart, friendly, and firm demeanor.
- Ensure all colleagues' activities adhere to and support hotel SOPs.
- Set a personal example for proper conduct and behavior, providing effective supervision of the restaurant/outlet.
- Check reservation lists and allocate tables, escorting guests to their assigned tables.
- Promptly assist guests with inquiries and provide hands-on support to colleagues in all areas of their duties, ensuring the highest levels of service and courtesy are maintained.

F & B Waitress
JOB PURPOSE
As a Waitress, you will provide warm welcome for Guests to contribute to an overall exceptional experience.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Ensures guest is greeted with a warm & friendly welcome
- Assist the guest upon arrival at the table, and adjust table seating where appropriate
- Present appropriate menu for appropriate meal times
- Suggest daily specials and guide or make recommendations to the guest, where applicable
- Take Food & Beverage order, and repeat the order to the guest for clarification
- Record orders accurately in the restaurant Micros system, recording all appropriate instructions for the Kitchen and Bar
- Observe guest to respond to any additional needs, and keep guests informed at all times
- Deliver Food and Beverage service in a timely manner
- Do a final check on the quality of food and beverage items before they are served
- Check back after delivery of food to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintains table appearance by pre-bussing, check drinks levels and clear table appropriately
- Presents check for payment. Receive and process payment accordingly i.e. cash/credit card.
