Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in children.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings to address speech and language goals.
- Administer therapy sessions to children, implementing evidence-based techniques and interventions.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of each patient's progress, treatment plans, and outcomes.
- Create a supportive and nurturing environment during therapy sessions to engage and motivate children.
- Collaborate closely with the SLP team to develop specialized therapy goals and strategies for each child.
- Provide valuable feedback to fellow SLPs regarding patient responses and adaptations to treatment plans.
- Foster a positive and engaging atmosphere during therapy sessions to optimize learning and progress.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
- Collaborate effectively with other members of the CTS healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
- Master of Science (MS) in Speech-Language Pathology or
- Master of Arts (MA) in Speech-Language Pathology or
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)

Opportunity: Hospital system is expanding and seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant to join their regional newborn hospitalist team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to provide inpatient pediatric care at 3 hospitals located in Northeastern North Carolina. Primary locations will be in Edenton NC, a beautiful waterfront community and nearby Ahoskie, NC. . Physician Assistants should have at least 2 years of NICU experience.
