We are looking for a MET (Mechanical, Electrical and Trim) to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the disassembly, inspection, repair and reassembly of a wide range of mechanical, electrical and trim components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and assess damaged components and determine the repair process.
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble components in accordance with manufacturers specifications.
- Perform quality checks on completed components.
- Ensure all safety regulations are adhered to.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work completed.
- Assist with the maintenance of a clean and organised workshop.
- Liaise with colleagues to ensure the timely completion of repairs.
- Ensure all parts and components are stored and handled correctly.
- Keep up to date with the latest industry developments.
- Maintain a high level of customer service.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and trim components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.

- Using body filler and other materials to repair minor dents and scratches
- Removing and replacing damaged mechanical and electrical components as necessary

- Ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with manufacturer specifications
