Fiscal Accounts Clerk II
This position handles accurate and timely activation and extension of new and existing subscriptions for Mega Millions, Multi Match, Power Ball, and Cash4Life games. Responsibilities include analyzing checks for restrictive endorsements, balancing financial transactions, processing claims, disbursing lottery winnings, and mailing W2G forms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Subscription Processing:
- Open and sort incoming mail, identify discrepancies, and scan applications.
- Capture and return incorrect checks, restrictively endorse checks, and reconcile discrepancies.
- Mail Handling:
- Inspect, open, sort, and batch subscription mail with corresponding payments.
- Use a printing adding machine to reconcile daily totals and generate reports.
- Customer Correspondence:
- Mail W2G tax forms and return checks with issues (e.g., missing signatures, incorrect amounts).
- Respond to customer inquiries via email and track correspondence.
- Claims/Retailer Payment Counter:
- Greet customers and process winning tickets and subscription applications.
- Communicate debts owed, explain W2G forms, write receipts, and photocopy customer IDs.
- Handle discrepancies in customer identification, generate checks and tax forms, and input data.
- Organize and file records, call security for investigations, and involve the communications department for big winners.
- Security Case Process:
- Collaborate with the Security Department and Customer Service Resource Center to review and sign off on damage ticket claims.
- Research discrepancies and missing documentation.
- Other Duties:
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.

- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in using accounting systems and office equipment
