My client is seeking a hands-on, experienced Accountant specialising in business tax services to join our dynamic and welcoming team in Brisbane. Your pivotal responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with clients to address their accounting and tax compliance requirements, encompassing the preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, BAS, FBT, and payroll tax returns.
- Collaborate with a wide range of clients, from small to large companies.
- Assist with accounting and provide tax advisory services that support clients' businesses.
- Establish trust and competence with clients and offer coaching and mentoring opportunities to support the development of team members as needed.
To excel in this role, you must possess the following skills and attributes:
- Possessing 3 or more years of substantial professional experience in business and tax advisory within a chartered accounting setting.
- Qualifications in relevant disciplines such as Business, Accounting, Finance, or other related professional or overseas qualifications.
- Commenced or planning to commence a Chartered Accountant qualification.
- Proficiency in the preparation of Financial Statements and BAS.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, committed to exceeding customer expectations.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities within a deadline-driven environment.

My client is seeking a hands-on, experienced Tax Manager to join our dynamic and welcoming team in Brisbane. Someone willing to face many challenges throughout the business lifecycle, from overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring tax compliance to navigating a competitive market and devising exit strategies.

- Address tax issues affecting cross-border investments and structures.

Its headquarters, nestled in the Northern Beaches, is a testament to the firm's commitment to blending productivity with comfort. The client eagerly anticipates the arrival of a new Business Manager, a key player who will bolster the firm and its team to deliver exceptional service.
As a Business Manager, you will drive the growth of my client into the next phase. The ideal candidate will be a valued member of the wider management team, bringing at least 5 years of recent experience in a public practice environment.

Your pivotal responsibilities:
- Working closely with the partners, managers, and team to ensure client needs are completed within the allocated timeframe.
- Responsible for delivering high-quality services to a selection of SME clients, encompassing compliance and advisory matters, financial reporting, ATO compliance, business guidance, structuring, tax planning, superannuation, and assessment of client Accounting systems.
- Ensure timely completion of income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and super funds, meeting the assigned deadline and productivity target.
- Assess whether the client has adhered to the superannuation guarantee.
- Prepare annual reconciliations for workers' compensation.
- Compile annual reconciliations for payroll tax.
- Complete Business Activity Statements (BAS) and file Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) returns, including calculating the liability based on client-provided information.
- Interact with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients, including the ATO and ASIC.
- Demonstrate proficiency in delegating and reviewing work and providing mentorship and staff development.
- Exhibit dedication to delivering exceptional service to our clients.
To excel in this role, you must possess the following skills and attributes:
- Possessing 5 or more years of experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice focusing on Superfund.
- Attainment of a Master's or Bachelors degree in commerce or a related discipline.
- Certification from Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand or in the final stages of completion.
- Proficiency in the preparation of Financial Statements and BAS.
- Ability to independently produce accurate financial accounts with minimal need for review.
